Named Third Team NFCA All-Southeast Region… Named First Team All-SEC… Named to the 2023 SEC Softball Community Service Team… Went 18-6 in 44 appearances and 23 starts with a 1.72 ERA… Her ERA finished fifth in the SEC… Tied Georgia’s single-season saves record with seven which also led the conference… Pitched eight complete games… Recorded five solo shutouts and combined on seven… Worked 167 total innings… Struck out 108 batters… Held opponents to a .221 average… Finished SEC play with a 1.61 ERA with a 6-3 record and six saves in 69.2 innings… Went 3-0 on opening weekend in four appearances in 12 innings, striking out 13 batters and walking none… Did not allow a walk in first six appearances… Pitched a six-inning complete-game shutout against Hofstra (2/24)… Pitched six-inning shutout at Georgia Tech (2/28)… Recorded the 47th no-hitter in Georgia history, pitching a six-inning complete game against Samford (3/4), fanning a season-best eight hitters… Recorded two wins out of the pen in the Texas A&M series, working eight innings in two appearances… Named SEC Co-Pitcher of the Week on March 28 going 2-0 with a save in nine and two-thirds scoreless innings, appearing in all three games the previous week… She highlighted the week tossing Georgia's first no-hitter of an SEC opponent since 2009 on Saturday, not allowing a hit in five innings against Mississippi State… Tossed two-hit shutout at No. 8 Arkansas (4/7) to secure series win… Combined with Madison Kerpics, Riley Orcutt, and Kylie Macy to no hit NC Central (5/19) in the NCAA Tournament, the fourth no-hitter in Georgia's NCAA Tournament history… Ranked 73rd in D1Softball's D100 Player Rankings heading into the season… Pursuing Master's degree in Kinesiology - Exercise Physiology at Georgia. 

2022 // Senior (Duke)    
Competed in six games, making four starts…Went 3-2 with a 2.25 ERA (18.2 IP), striking out 16…Threw 5.1 hitless innings and struck out five in a win over Utah on Feb. 13…Missed the remainder of the regular season due to injury.

2021 // Junior (Duke)    
Made 31 appearances with a team-high 24 starts during her junior season… led the team with a 1.28 ERA and program-record 19 wins (19-3)… tossed nine complete games through 147.2 frames with 87 strikeouts… threw the program’s first no-hitter in a five-inning contest versus NC Central on March 4… teamed up with Claire Davidson to throw the first combined no-hitter in program history, pitching two frames in the 10-0 victory on May… dealt a program-record 12 innings in Duke’s 4-0 shutout victory against Western Kentucky on May 22 in the Athens Regional… started and threw five scoreless innings in the ACC Championship title game versus top-seeded Clemson on May 15… season-high six strikeouts versus Syracuse on March 19… collected her only save of the season in her first appearance, throwing 1.1 frames of relief in a 6-2 win against Central Arkansas on Feb. 12.

2020 // Sophomore (Duke)    
Made nine appearances with eight starts before the season was shortened by COVID-19… Recorded a 4-0 record with a 1.94 ERA through 36 innings while tallying 30 strikeouts and only walking three batters… Helped Duke's pitching staff to lead the ACC in ERA and wins… Ranked fifth nationally for strikeout-to-wak ratio (10) and walks allowed per seven innings (.58)… Pitched three complete games in 2020… Garnered a shutout victory over Rutgers on Feb. 16 after hurling seven innings with a season-high six strikeouts while only letting up two hits. 

2019 // Freshman (Duke)    
Made 27 appearances in the circle this season, drawing 14 starts… Finished with a 3.92 ERA and captured five victories with one save… Finished second on the team with 87 strikeouts and her 6.2 strikeouts per seven innings finished 11th in the ACC… Made her career debut against South Carolina (Feb. 8), throwing 3.0 innings and allowing just two runs (no earned)… Threw her first complete game on Feb. 15, striking out seven against Indiana… Picked up the first win of her career with a complete game one-run performance against Penn State (Feb. 17) striking out six and only walking one… Followed her first win with another complete game and tying her then career high with seven strikeouts against California to open Duke's time at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic on Feb. 22… Threw 2.2 innings of relief work, holding Utah scoreless on two hits and striking out one to earn her first-career save… Threw a career-high 8.1 innings against Mississippi State, tossing five strikeouts… Picked up back-to-back wins in relief appearances against Kansas (March 2) and Ohio (March 3)… Tossed 4.2 innings and struck out five against Pitt (March 16) for her fourth win of the year… Threw a career-high 9.0 innings and set another career mark with 12 strikeouts (the first double-digit strikeout game of her career) in the first of two games against NC State on April 20.

High School    
Ranked 80th in FloSoftball's Top 100… Put together a tremendous career at Girls Preparatory School in Chattanooga, Tenn., for head coach Susan Crownover, leading her squad to the TSSAA DII-AA State Championship in 2014 and runner-up finishes in 2015, 2017 and 2018… Posted 477 strikeouts with three perfect games in her career… Finished her career with a scorching 1.89 ERA… Also ended her career with a .549 slugging percentage and 21 homers…  Capped her career with a stellar senior season, earning Best of Preps First Team, All-State and Division II Region MVP honors… Tossed 134.1 innings her final campaign, striking out 219 and recording a 1,04 ERA with a 30-4 record in the circle… At the plate, she owned a .468 clip with a .909 slugging percentage and a team-high 13 home runs…  A 2017 Best of Preps honoree, she posted a 1.10 ERA her junior year, tallying four no-hitters and two perfect games… In over 89 innings of work, she struck out 118 opponents, giving up just 46 hits and 14 earned runs in 351 batters faced… Also put up impressive numbers in her freshman campaign, tallying a 2.28 ERA with 85 strikeouts and only 34 runs in 104 innings of action, tacking on a perfect game as well… On the travel ball scene, she was a stud for the Frost Falcons (2010-15) and Tennessee Fury Platinum (2015-18)… Posted three top five finishes as ASA Nationals in her time with the Falcons, including a third-place showing in 2011… As a pitcher and first baseman paced her squad to four ASA State Championships (2011-13, 2015), the 2013 ASA Hall of Fame Championship, a runner-up finish at the 2011 USFA World Series and a fifth-place showing at Triple Crown Nationals in 2014… With the Fury Platinum, she helped her team reach a third-place finish at the 2017 Colorado Fireworks (16U) and an appearance at PGF Nationals… Posted a remarkable 14 shutouts and six no-hitters in the summer of 2017… Was also a stud in the classroom, as she was a member of the National Honors Society and made the Distinguished Honors list every year in high school so far… Named to the Dean's List from 2015-17… Also was a member of National Society of High School Honors.

Personal    
Daughter of John and Shannon Walters… Has one brother, John… Born Jan. 12, 2000...  Graduated from Duke in May 2022 with her degrees in Evolutionary Anthropology & Biology… Her mother played softball and ran both cross country and track & field… Her father played baseball and softball… Since 2015, she was an active member of Save a Lab, which is a dog fostering service for mothers and puppies… Also spent time her freshman and sophomore years taking part in Glenwood Learning Adventure Days, tutoring students at local elementary schools in academia and Spanish to English… A member of Connect Leadership in 2016… Was a member of the Health Club and Drama Club, as well as the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and Christian Forum… Was also a member of the May Day Committee, helping organize the festival vendors, designing the program and t-shirt and orchestrating the reception… Participated in Project Backpack, distributing food to elementary students… Worked with inner city children on basic softball skills training at the Connect Training Center… Helps with basic skill training for local softball youth teams at Diamond Academy Sports Performance.
