A three-sport athlete for the Mathews High School Blue Devils, competing in softball, basketball, and cross country… Was a first team all-state third baseman as a freshman… Helped guide Mathews to a state championship as a rookie… She followed up her rookie season with all-district and all-region honors as a sophomore… Missed junior season due to a knee injury and senior season was cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic… On the basketball court, she put up 440 points as a freshman and 435 as a sophomore… She earned all-district and all-region accolades three seasons of basketball as well as being named the player of the year as a sophomore….
