Parker Pruitt is in his first season as a graduate assistant with the Georgia Basketball program.
Pruitt joined the Bulldogs after earning his bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from Covenant College in May 2026. While at Covenant, Pruitt was a student manager for the basketball program four seasons from 2022-26. He also served as sports editor for The Blue Tribune, Covenant’s student newspaper, and gained additional experience volunteering for the Chattanooga Lookouts, a double-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds.
Pruitt worked two major sporting events – the 2025 College Football Playoff (CFP) Championship game at Mercedes Benz Stadium and Nike’s EYBL basketball events in Augusta, Ga., in July 2026.
Pruitt spent the first half of the calendar year as an intern at the Baylor School in Chattanooga under Athletic Director Mark Price and was an assistant coach at Heritage Academy in Flowery Branch, Ga., from 2023-24.
From 2024-26, Pruitt spent summers working as a counselor at Pine Cove in Toccoa, Ga., and he also worked as a cashier customer service representative at a Chick-fil-A franchise in Oakwood, Ga., from 2021-22.
Pruitt is on track to earn his master's in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from UGA in 2028.
