Jalon Wilson is in his first season as a graduate manager with the Georgia Basketball program.
Wilson graduated from Pepperdine earlier in 2018 with his bachelor’s degree in sports adminstration. He served for two seasons as an undergraduate assistant with the Wave under his father, head coach Marty Wilson. Jalon’s duties at Pepperdine included assisting with video breakdown and on-court player development, as well as serving as a practice player.
Wilson also gained experience working for the Wasserman Sports Agency assisting with the training of both professional and college players. There he worked with numerous standouts, including former Tom Crean players Dwyane Wade and Victor Oladipo. Wilson also assisted with workouts for, among others, Russell Westbrook, JaVale McGee, Nigel Williams-Goss, Malik Monk and DJ Wilson.
Jalon is pursuing his master’s in sports management from UGA. Marty Wilson is currently an assistant coach on the staff at Cal.
