Ryan Madaleno became Georgia football’s Head Athletic Trainer in January 2025 focusing on day-to-day management of the players’ health. He served as a UGA associate athletic trainer with the program since 2021.
Madaleno started his career as an intern with the New York Giants and then was a graduate assistant trainer with Alabama in 2015-16 before serving as a full-time assistant athletic trainer for Florida from 2017-21. Certified as an emergency medical technician, Madaleno graduated from Eastern Kentucky with a degree in Athletic Training before earning his Master’s degree in Health Studies from Alabama.
A native of Valdosta who grew up in Lexington, Ky., Madaleno is married to Collier Madaleno, who previously served as the Bulldogs’ Director of Football Performance Nutrition. The couple has one son: Louis James Madaleno.
