Rome Raymond was hired as a Recruiting Analyst for the program prior to the 2023 season.
The native of Gwinnett County, Ga., attended Berkmar High School before becoming a four-year football letterman at Morehead State University where he earned a B.A. in Business Management in 2011. Raymond is the all-time career leader in sacks for the Eagles after piling up 27. He also finished with 41.5 tackles for loss, five forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries and played in three collegiate all-star games at the conclusion of his career: NFLPA Bowl, the Casino del Sol All-Start Game and the FCS Bowl.
Raymond went on to team with Atlanta Falcon great Chuck Smith, who is currently the outside linebackers coach for the Baltimore Ravens, and Ryan Goldin, who is a national champion powerlifter and coach, to train thousands of youth, high school, collegiate and professional athletes in strength, speed and pass rushing.
Raymond is the founder of the 501c3 non-profit, The Players Society Organization (www.theplayerssociety.org). The mission of this program is to provide underserved athletes in the community and give them equal opportunities to increase their skills sets in order to reach their dreams.
