Anthony Mauro

Mauro joined Georgia's program during the spring of 2024 and serves as team's Player Personnel Coordinator. He previously served as the Director of Player Personnel at Louisiana Tech for two seasons (2024, 2023) where he helped lead the Bulldogs to back-back top three recruiting classes among Conference USA teams, capping out with the top class in 2023.
Prior to his time in Ruston, La., Mauro managed Fresno State's recruiting efforts, organizing on-campus visits, evaluating prospects and navigating the NCAA Transfer Portal to fill roster needs. During his stint in Fresno, he helped orchestrate and led this group of Bulldogs to the top recruiting class in the Mountain West Conference and the second best recruiting class among all Group of Five schools, according to 247Sports in 2022.
Mauro also served as the Assistant Director of Recruiting for Louisiana Tech from 2021-22. From 2019-2021, he was an assistant linebacker's coach at McNeese State. Mauro graduated from the University of Iowa and served as an undergraduate assistant at Iowa from 2014-2018. He assisted and worked with the tight ends and helped by compiling statistical information, gathering information on opponents and recruits and assisted in the day-to-day operations of the football program. Mauro also assisted with Iowa football camps and coaching clinics.
