Cincinnati Reds: Drafted by the Cincinnati Reds organization in the 2013 MLB Amateur Draft...Played for the Reds affiliate in the Arizona League in 2016 and 2014, playing 39 games in two seasons...Moved to pitcher in 2016 after starting 25 of 28 games at first baseman in 2014.
High School: Parkview, coached by Cecil Flowe...Two-sport athlete who signed with Georgia baseball in 2013 before opting to play for the Cincinnati Reds as a 15th round Major League Baseball draft pick...Suffered an torn elbow ligament which made him miss his senior season after surgery...Preseason Super Six Selection in 2013 by the Gwinnett Daily Post...All-Region as a junior, batting .371 with 23 RBI for the Parkview varsity baseball team and coach Chan Brown...Parkview went 31-6 en route to the 2012 consensus national title (Baseball America and NHSBCA) after securing GHSA Class 5A and Region 8-5A championships...Also named a Georgia Dugout Club All-Star and to Team Georgia squad...Hit .417-5-28 as a sophomore as Panthers won state title with a 29-10 record...Played summer baseball with the East Cobb Astros.
