2018: Was in Georgia’s top five finishers at the first four regular season meets, including a 16th-place finish (25:07.6) at the 7.6k Bulldog Invitational in Athens…Scored at the 8k SEC Championships thanks to a 42nd-place finish (24:05.56)…Competed for the Bulldogs at the NCAA South Regional and was 95th with a 10k time of 33:58.7.
2017: Opened the year by taking ninth (16:02.94) at the 5k WCU Festival…Grabbed top team honors at the 5k Gene Mullin Invite after taking second (15:47.61)…Finished his season by taking 75th (25:47.4) at the 8k SEC Championships.
2016: Took 21st with a 27:23.43 at the 8K UGA Cross Country Invitational in his official Bulldog cross debut...Finished the 8K Commodore Classic in a season best 26:41.4 for 113th.
2015: Redshirted for the Bulldogs.
High School: Led LaGrange to a fourth-place finish at the GHSA AAAA cross country meet as a sophomore and to runner-up honors as a junior and to the region title in track in the AAAAA division as a senior…Personal-best times of 16:00 (5k), 9:38 (3200-meter run) and 4:25 (1600)…Earned the Granger, Heart, Coaches and MVP awards while suiting up for the Grangers…Named All-Region in cross country his final three years (runner-up as a senior) and was All-State his final two (10th as a junior and 13th as a senior) and won the region title in the 3200 as a senior…Was a three-time All-State performer on the track after taking sixth in the 3200 as a junior and seventh in both the 1600 and 3200 as a senior…Varsity starter on both the LaGrange golf and soccer teams that advanced to their state tournaments as a freshman and a sophomore…Captain for cross, track and golf as a junior and senior…Four-year LHS student council member and president as a senior…Student representative on the Troup County Task Force board and worked with his county’s Youth Leadership Program…Named AP Government Student of the Year as a junior…Member of National Honors Society his last three years of high school, on the honor roll three years and a member of the LHS Service Club as a freshman and sophomore.
