A native of Louisville, Ky., Alex Noel joined the Bulldog squad to start the 2016-17 school year. Noel graduated from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn., in May 2016 and graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Environmental Studies. He was a two-time Division III cross country national qualifier while serving as captain for the Lynx for those seasons. Noel set school records in both the 10,000 meters and the distance medley relay at Rhodes and helped lead his team to three Southern Athletic Association (SAA) titles. Individually, he won the 2014 SAA cross country championship and was on the conference Honor Roll all eight semesters of his time in Memphis. Noel now holds a USATF Level 1 Certification.
