2016-17 Season Highlights:
• Played in 28 contests and recorded a pair of starts - at Clemson in the season opener on Nov. 11 and against Auburn on March 1 for Senior Day.
• One of 12 Bulldogs to play on three 20-win teams in Georgia Basketball history.
• One-fourth of UGA's winningest class in SEC play (42 league wins) and the second-winningest class overall (80 victories) in 111 seasons of competition on the hardwood.
• Suffered a stomach ailment after Georgia arrived in Kansas City for the CBE Hall of Fame Classic and remained at the team hotel during the Bulldogs' matchup with George Washington.
• Returned to log one minute of PT versus No. 5 Kansas.
• Eventually lost approximately 16 pounds due the virus.
• Evidence of cure came against Morehouse when he scored a career-high 15 points in a season-high 22 minutes of action.

• Averaged 2.6 points and 2.8 rebounds in 19.3 minutes per game.
• Posted his first double-figure statistical output with a 13-point performance at Seton Hall.
• Entered the season with a career high of 21 minutes played before matching or topping that mark in 13 games during the 2015-16 campaign.
• Earned double-digit playing time in all 34 games, after doing so 15 times in a combined 43 games played as a freshman and sophomore.
• Finished third on the team with 48 assists and sported an extremely efficient 2.29 assist-to-turnover ratio.

• Returned to action Feb. 17 vs. South Carolina and contributed a career-best six rebounds in just 12 minutes.
• Played the remainder of the season with a protective wrap around his wrist.
• Earned first career start at the `3' position on Feb. 21 at Alabama and remained in the lineup for six of the Bulldogs' final eight games of the season, including both of UGA's SEC Tournament outings.
• Scored a season- and career-high seven points against Missouri on Feb. 28.

• Secured playing time in 21 contests, including 13 outings against SEC foes.
• Saw three minutes in his first collegiate game and contributed two points and two rebounds in the season-opening win over Wofford.
• Garnered his first double-figure minutes against Chattanooga, scoring four points and grabbed three boards in 10 MP.
• Enjoyed his most productive outing of the season at Mississippi State on Feb. 12...and did so playing in front of nearly 100 supporters from his hometown of Booneville, Miss., just a 90-minute drive from Starkville.
• Provided a huge spark off the bench at Mississippi State. With Georgia trailing by 14 points with 9:54 left in the first half, Geno scored six points in a 20-5 run to end the half. UGA eventually claimed a 75-55 victory.
• Posted season-high efforts for points (six) and minutes played (14) versus the SEC West's Bulldogs in Starkville.
• A solid contributor against Mississippi State three weeks later in a matchup in Athens, scoring five points and grabbing three boards.
