Made 20 appearances in the circle, starting 11 games… Worked 53 total innings and registering a 4.89 ERA with a 4-4 record… Struck out 56 opponents… Struck out a season-best nine batters against Furman (4/27)… Worked a season-long five innings in start at Missouri (4/15)… Pitched 1.1 innings out of the pen in season finale at Duke (5/22) in the NCAA Regional… Recipient of the Jimmy and Barbara Turner Athletic Scholarship... Named to the Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll.  

2021 // Senior    
Made 20 appearances in the circle in 2021, making eight starts… Worked 45.2 innings, concluding the season with a 3.22 ERA and a 4-2 record… She fanned 55 hitters and held opponents to a .190 average… Struck out eight hitters twice, vs. South Alabama (2/12) and North Dakota (3/14)… Recorded a one-hit, complete-game shutout against Georgia State (3/10)… Earlier in the season, she combined with Alley Cutting to no-hit Georgia State on Feb. 27, the 46th no hitter in the Georgia history… Named to the Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll.  

2020 // Junior    
Made 13 appearances in the circle including 10 starts… Concluded the season with a perfect 7-0 record including four complete games… Worked 46 innings, striking out 82 batters, and allowing 19 earned runs for a 2.89 ERA… Recorded a career-best 13 strikeouts twice in one weekend, the first against Samford (2/19) and Central Michigan (2/22)… Combined with Alley Cutting to one-hit and not allow a walk against Howard (2/7)… Threw a complete-game shutout of Samford (2/19)… 82 strikeouts finished third in the SEC and 50th in the country… 12.5 strikeouts per seven innings finished fourth nationally and top in the league. 

2019 // Sophomore    
Made 24 appearances and 11 starts in the circle… Concluded the season with an 8-4 record and 2.76 ERA… Worked two complete games… Pitched one solo shutout against Bowling Green (3/8), the first complete game of her career… Worked 71 total innings… Held batters to a .205 hitting clip… Fanned 73 hitters and walked 40… 7.2 strikes per seven innings pitched ranked 77th in the country and ninth in the SEC… Her 5.32 hits allowed per seven innings ranked 69th-best in the country and 11th in the SEC… Worked a career-best 10 and a third innings at South Carolina (4/26), striking out eight Gamecocks but suffering the loss in extra innings… Struck out a season best 10 batters against Bowling Green (3/8)… Named to J. Reid Parker Director of Athletics Honor Roll. 

2018 // Freshman    
Appeared in 14 games with two starts in the circle… Finished the season with 2.71 ERA in 31 innings of work with 26 strikeouts… Earned a season-high five strikeouts against Bucknell (3/14)… Made first start at home against Samford (2/17), working four innings, striking out four… Pitched two scoreless frames against Harvard (5/18) in the NCAA Regional… Named to J. Reid Parker Director of Athletics Honor Roll.

High School    
All-Metro Conference and All-State First Team pitcher from West Orange High School in Florida… Received FloSoftball First Team All-America honors, as well as numerous Pitcher and Player of the Year Awards… Boasted a 0.15 ERA with 279 strikeouts and 142 innings pitched her senior year, complimented by 10 no-hitters… Florida Dairy Farmers Miss Softball recipient… Her ERA never exceeded one in four years of high school softball… Led the Warriors to the 9A state championship her junior and senior years… Led the Wildfire to the top-10 of ASA Nationals for six-straight years… Junior Olympic Runner-Up with the Gold Coast Hurricanes.

Born Aug. 15, 1999… Daughter of Pamela and Wes Mathis… Majoring in Psychology… One of many Mathis family members to attend UGA, including her grandparents, Peggy and Jack… Father played soccer at the University of North Carolina… Has a brother, Jack.
