Sports Medicine - Immersion
We welcome all athletic training students from any accredited athletic training program. The length of each experience is individual to each school’s requirements. UGA has experienced preceptors who value student education and mentoring future athletic trainers.
Applicant Requirements:
Complete coursework in evaluation and management of athletic injuries at an accredited entry-level master’s program.
Required to have First Aid, CPR and AED certification.
*Each institution must have an affiliation agreement in place prior to student participation*
Policies and Procedures:
Immersion students are to adhere to all rules and regulations put forth by their sport supervisor. Any violation of these policies and procedures may result in dismissal.
