On behalf of the University of Georgia Athletic Association and the Sports Medicine Department, we welcome you to our campus. Below is information that will be useful during your stay in Athens. A sport specific athletic trainer will be in touch with further details regarding their satellite athletic training room and competition specific medical coverage. Upon arrival to the venue and prior to competition, they will also complete a Medical Time Out: review of items such as emergency equipment onsite and pertinent emergency protocols. Should you need assistance in advance, please utilize our staff directory tab in order to determine who your host will be. If your team will not be traveling with an athletic trainer, please reach out prior to arrival and we will do our best to assist your student-athletes during their time at UGA.
