| The Georgia softball team plays in a multi-million dollar softball stadium. The facility holds close to 1,400 fans while additional outfield seating was added in 2015. The Jack Turner Stadium, named for the late Jack Turner thanks in part to gifts from himself and his son Jimmy Turner, has been chosen to host eight NCAA Regionals and four NCAA Super Regionals since the format began in 2006. Both the Georgia and visiting team dugout are connected via tunnel from the locker rooms. The Bulldogs' locker room area has all facilities located in it, including an athletic training room, players' lounge, game room, locker room, showers as well as the coaches' offices and locker room. On the first base side, the visiting team has its locker room and showers along with the umpires' locker room. A state-of-the-art press box was built featuring suites for radio, television, media and athletic administration. Georgia's stadium ranks among the nation's best and will continue to be an attractive site for NCAA postseason play for years to come. Visit full Jack Turner Staduim Page | |
