Athletic Training Clinical Immersion Opportunities
UGA Sports Medicine is happy to announce that we will be offering immersion experiences to entry-level master’s students from schools all over. The length of each experience is individual to the school’s requirements. We have experienced preceptors who value student education and mentoring future athletic trainers.
We require a resume, cover letter and completed application. Please indicate what type of experience you are looking for as we have an assortment of sports placements. If you have questions about the requirements, please contact our Immersion Experience Committee: Samantha Davis (Olympic Sports) and Brittany deCamp (Football).
Applicant Requirements
Completed coursework in evaluation and management of athletic injuries in an accredited entry-level master’s program or undergraduate athletic training program and must have CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS certification.
*Each institution must have an affiliation agreement in place prior to student participation*
