During his eight year tenure, he led Georgia to seven winning seasons. His overall record was 43-18-9. 1911 | Schedule | Letterwinners Georgia football finds a new home at Sanford Field (near where Sanford Stadium now sits) named in honor of Vincent Sanford, Georgia's Physical Director and longtime supporter of Georgia Athletics. 1912 | Schedule | Letterwinners Under Cunningham's leadership, Georgia plays Auburn for the first time, beating the Plainsmen, 12-6. 1913- | Schedule | Letterwinners Halfback sensation Bob McWhorter becomes Georgia's first All-American as he leads the Bulldogs to a 6-2 record. 1914 | Schedule | Letterwinners Team Captain and Quarterback Dave Paddock becomes Georgia's second All-American in two years. 1915 | Schedule | Letterwinners In the first game between Georgia and Florida in Jacksonville, the Bulldogs win, 37-0. 1916 | Schedule | Letterwinners Georgia finishes the season at 6-3, including a victory over Florida in Athens and Alabama in Birmingham. 1917 | No games played due to World War I. | Letterwinners 1918 | No games played due to World War I. | Letterwinners 1919 | Schedule | Letterwinners Coach Cunningham closes out his coaching career at Georgia with a 4-2-3 record, his seventh winning season, to pursue a professional career in the army. |
