Sports Nutrition Laboratory and Office Suite

The Sports Nutrition Laboratory and Office Suite and is housed within the Rankin Smith Student Athlete Academic Center.

Our Laboratory is equipped with the following equipment:

Atago Digital Hand-Held Urine Specific Gravity "Pen" Refractometers

Dual energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) for determination of bone mass is available within UGA's Department of Foods and Nutrition Bone & Body Composition Laboratory.

Training Table

Our Training Table is an exclusive buffet style lunch with menus developed by Sports Nutrition and our Executive Chef to meet the unique needs of Georgia student-athletes.

Fuel Stations

We provide each Georgia Bulldog team with food products in their locker room facility based on customized needs for pre-practice energy and post-practice recovery.
