Butts-Mehre Awards and Trophies
Georgia's $40 million expansion and renovation of Butts-Mehre Heritage Hall makes it one of the nation's top facilities. Named for coaches Wallace Butts and Harry Mehre, Butts-Mehre Heritage Hall is the nerve center of the UGA Athletic Association. The building houses the players' headquarters, including the locker room, the weight room, the sports medicine training room and meeting rooms. In addition, it includes football coaches' offices and meeting rooms, historical displays for all UGA athletic teams and the administrative offices of the Athletic Association.
The second floor includes the Larry Munson Trophy Room, named in honor of Georgia's legendary former radio broadcaster.
