Stegeman Coliseum Policies and Procedures

Advance Tickets
All ticket information for the University of Georgia Athletic Association may be obtained by visiting the UGA Ticket Office homepage, by calling the ticket office at 706-542-1231 or toll free at 1-877-542-1231 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Artificial Noisemakers
Any artificial noisemakers (air horns, cowbells, etc.) are not permitted in Stegeman Coliseum. Be considerate and allow your neighbor to enjoy the game. Please keep portable radios at a low volume.

Banners
Outside signs, banners, pictures, etc. are not permitted in Stegeman Coliseum. Promotional items handed out inside the arena and/or posters made at the Kids Zone will be allow inside the seating bowl.

Cameras
Still photography is permitted at UGA Athletic events provided a flash is not used. Video Cameras are strictly prohibited for non-media guests. Cameras with removable lenses are also prohibited. Any image taken within Stegeman Coliseum must be accompanied by written consent from the University of Georgia Athletic Association before any commercial use.

Children's Admission
Guests, regardless of age, must have a valid ticket before entering Stegeman Coliseum.

Competition Floor
The competition area shall be limited to participating student-athletes, coaches, officials, support personnel, and properly-credentialed individuals at all times. For the safety of participants and spectators alike, at no time before, during, or after a contest shall spectators be permitted to enter the competition area. Penalties shall include, but not be limited to, expulsion from the facility and the loss of future ticket privileges.

Credit Cards
The concession stands inside Stegeman Coliseum honor Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit cards. The merchandise stands accept Visa and MasterCard only.

Accessible Access
Accessible parking is available in a portion of the Hoke-Smith Annex Parking Lot on a limited basis - first-come, first-serve. This parking lot is located off of Smith St. across from the football practice fields. Please have your handicap parking sticker or hangtag available to show the parking attendant at the gate. Accessible parking is also available in the Carlton Street Parking Deck. Accessible seating inside Stegeman Coliseum is available in Sections A, B, C, L, N, V, W, X, and Y for wheelchair patrons and one companion.

Doors Open
Doors open 1 hour prior to the start of basketball games and gymnastics meets, allowing fans to get to their seats in time for warm-ups.

Fan Conduct
The Bulldogs want to provide all coaches, student-athletes, staff, and guests with a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable atmosphere. Consequently, the University of Georgia, the Southeastern Conference, and the NCAA do not condone or tolerate foul or abusive language, obscene or indecent clothing, or other inconsiderate and disruptive behavior. Guests who do not adhere to the policies of the Athletic Association are subject to ejection without refund. Please contact your nearest usher to report such behavior.

First Aid
A First Aid room is located at Section N on the concourse. A registered nurse is stationed in the room to handle all spectator First Aid needs. If you require assistance, please locate the nearest Coliseum staff member or usher, and he/she will assist in notifying the proper first aid personnel.

Food/ Beverage
There are concession stands located throughout the Stegeman Coliseum concourse. No food or beverages will be allowed to enter Stegeman Coliseum from outside.

Lost and Found
To report or claim any lost items at the event, please locate the nearest usher. To check for any lost items after an event, email lostfound@sports.uga.edu or contact the Event Management Office at (706) 542-7944. Items left more than 30 days will be donated to charity.

Merchandise
Guests can find merchandise stands throughout the Stegeman Coliseum concourse. Bulldog basketball, gymnastics, and volleyball merchandise can also be found by visiting the goergiadogs.com website.

Parking
General parking is available around campus on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests are encouraged to park in the Carlton Street Parking Deck and the surface lots adjacent to the Carlton Street Parking Deck.

Accessible Parking is available in a portion of the Hoke Smith parking lot with a valid license plate or hangtag.

Prohibited Items
Arena security has the right to inspect any item at any time for the purpose of spectator safety. Prohibited items must be returned to cars or disposed of before entry. Prohibited items include:

  • Non-Clear Bags
  • Backpacks
  • Clear Bags Larger than 12”x12”
  • Laser pointers
  • Thermos Bottles
  • Bottles & Cans
  • Infant Seats
  • Strollers
  • Artificial Noisemakers
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Poles/Selfie Sticks
  • Ice Bags
  • Hard-Surfaced Materials
  • Ice Chests
  • Food/Drink Containers
  • Tobacco
  • Cameras with detachable lenses
  • Seatbacks larger than 16” or have arms or pockets
  • Any other item deemed hazardous by facility personnel

All jackets and bags will be searched upon entry. Stadium security has the right to inspect any item at any time for the purpose of spectator safety. UGA Athletic Association management reserves the right to make the final determination on prohibited items. In the event that prohibited items are revealed in a search, guests will be asked to dispose of the items or return them to their cars before re-entering the building.

Projectiles
The University of Georgia Athletic Assoc. and the Southeastern Conference prohibits the throwing of items on to the floor. Incidents may result in the home team receiving a technical foul in basketball and the offender being ejected from the building.

Reentry Policy
No re-entry is permitted at any gate. If an individual leaves the Coliseum, a new ticket is needed to be re-admitted.

Restrooms
Stegeman Coliseum offers restrooms throughout the building. All restrooms are fully accessible and equipped with baby changing stations.

Telephones
There are no public telephones inside Stegeman Coliseum.

Tobacco Products
The UGA campus and Stegeman Coliseum is a tobacco-free facility and the use of all tobacco products are prohibited.

Umbrellas
Bagged umbrellas will be allowed inside Stegeman Coliseum.

Will Call
Prepaid reservations and other tickets can be picked up at the Will Call window, located on the Northwest end of the building between Gates D & E. The Will Call windows will open at the same time the doors open (60 minutes prior to all events). A photo ID is required to pick-up tickets.
