Georgia Baseball Announces Full 2027 Schedule

ATHENS, Ga. – On Wednesday, the University of Georgia baseball program released the entire 55-game schedule for the upcoming 2027 baseball season.
The Bulldogs, under the direction of Ike Cousins head baseball coach Wes Johnson, open the season Feb. 19 with a four-game series at Foley Field against the defending America East Champion Bearcats from Binghamton. Also, prior to Southeastern Conference (SEC) play, Georgia will face Princeton, Kennesaw State, Elon, Georgia State and Fresno State. The weekend series with the Bearcats and Tigers of Princeton will include a Saturday doubleheader.
Four of Georgia's non-conference opponents (Binghamton, The Citadel, USC-Upstate and Georgia Tech) plus eight of its SEC foes for 2027 advanced to an NCAA Regional last year. Three of Georgia's SEC opponents in 2027 joined Georgia in Omaha last season for the College World Series.
Along with its 30 SEC games, Georgia will participate in 25 non-conference contests, 21 of which will be played at Foley Field. The Bulldogs have three non-conference road games plus the annual neutral site contest at Truist Park in Atlanta against Georgia Tech to benefit Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
Information regarding the Steve Webber Fund and season ticket renewals will be available in mid-November with single-game tickets on sale in late-January.
Georgia's top returning hitters include junior Henry Allen (.321-13-41 in 46 games) and senior Jack Arcamone (.302-4-21 in 35 games) while the six returning pitchers include graduate Paul Farley (8-2, 4.98 ERA, 1 Save in 22 games) and senior Zach Brown (2-0, 4.00 ERA, 2 Saves in 20 games). After having a school record and national-leading 13 players selected in the 2026 Major League baseball Draft, the Bulldogs brought in 28 newcomers. Georgia's portal class has been ranked among the nation's best by multiple outlets.
Also, on Wednesday, the Bulldogs will begin fall workouts. They are slated to scrimmage at 3 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday and at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Scrimmages are free to attend.
