ATHENS, Ga. — Georgia head coach Mike White and two Bulldog players Blue Cain and Marcus "Smurf" Millender visited with the media on Tuesday to discuss the Bulldogs' starting official preseason practices.

Georgia conducted its first practice on Monday (Sept. 21), which also served as the team's "Pro Day."

The Bulldogs are one of just three Power Conference programs returning four season-ending starters from last season – seniors Cain and Millender, junior Kanon Catchings and sophomore Kareem Stagg.

Georgia has earned back-to-back bids to the last two NCAA Tournaments, just the fourth time in program history the Bulldogs have appeared in consecutive editions of March Madness. The Bulldogs also have reached the 20-win plateau in each of the past three campaigns, just the third time in they've done so in 121 seasons of competition.

Last season, Georgia won a school-record 22 regular-season games while also shattering several records. Most notably, the Bulldogs ranked No. 5 nationally in scoring offense at 89.4 points per game. That was 6.7 points per game better than their previous high (82.7 ppg during their 1990 SEC Championship season).
