Georgia Contributes a Pair of Impressive Finishes at John McNichols Invite

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Georgia cross country posted a pair of top-15 finishes Saturday morning at the John McNichols Invite, with the women finishing 13th and the men 15th.

• The Georgia women started competition for the day with the Championship 6K race where they finished 13th overall with 335 points. The men competed in the 8K Championship race where they claimed 15th with 353 points.
• On the women's side, sophomores Anastasia Nilsson and Addison Scott led the way finishing 47th and 54th overall. This marks the second time this season that both Nilsson and Scott have led the Bulldogs.
• Other women's scorers included junior Ceyda Pinar at 21:23.1, Madeleine Holland at 21:38.7 and Maeve Waddell at 21:51.1.
• On the men's side, the senior duo of Ryan Olree and Conner Rutherford led the way for the Bulldogs for the second straight meet Olree finished 23rd overall at 24:09.1 and Rutherford followed in 30th at 24:17.9.
• Additional scorers for the men were freshmen Bertold Kalasz at 24:31.1, Alex Lennon at 25:09.1 and Jameson Pifer at 25:24.6.
• The No. 20-ranked men finished ahead of No. 26 Louisville and No. 23 Air Force.
Georgia next laces up on Oct. 9th in Madison, Wis. for the Nuttycomb Invite.
