Bulldogs Kick off Fall at ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. – Select members of the Georgia men's tennis squad are set to compete in the ITA All-American Championships, hosted by the University of Tulsa, beginning on Saturday, September 19th at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

Fast Facts:
  • Six Bulldogs have earned main draw, qualifying or pre-qualifying bids into the tournament. In singles, No. 101 Julian Alonso will commence play in the qualifying draw while Andrew Delgado, Maxime Dubouch, Eudald Gonzalez, Noah Johnston and Oliver Sanders will begin action in the pre-qualifying draw. In doubles, No. 24 Delgado/Johnston have earned main draw berth, and No. 62 Alonso/Dubouch will begin in qualifying.
  • Five Bulldogs – three transfers and two freshmen - will make their Georgia debuts in the event. Alonso, Delgado and Dubouch, the three transfers, all competed in the 2025 edition of the All-American Championships. The event will be Gonzalez and Sanders' first collegiate competition.
  • In singles, the competition has a draw size of 160 players for-pre-qualifying, 64 in qualifying and 64 in the main draw. In doubles, there is a pre-qualifying draw of 32 pairings, 32 in the qualifying draw and 32 in the main draw.
  • The event acts as a qualifying tournament for the 2026 NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex later this fall. In singles play, the eight main draw quarterfinalists and the two consolation draw finalists qualify for the championships, and in doubles play, the four main draw semifinalist pairings and the consolation draw champions earn their berth.
  • Five former Bulldogs have taken home the ITA All-American Championships singles title in its 47-year history: Ethan Quinn (2022), Travis Helgeson (2007), John Isner (2005), Al Parker (2x; 1989 and 1990) and Mikael Pernfors (1984). The six total titles won by Bulldogs is tied for first all-time with Stanford.
  • Last year, Gabriele Vulpitta advanced through pre-qualifying into the qualifying draw in singles. Alonso and Delgado each ended one win shy of the singles main draw round.
