DeMoss Announces 2026-27 Schedule for Bulldogs

ATHENS, Ga. --- The 2026-27 University of Georgia men's golf team will travel to three tournaments within the state and return to several familiar sites during head coach Mookie DeMoss' first year at the helm.
"We are excited about the great group of guys we have on our team and the incredible courses we're going to compete on this year," DeMoss said. "We can't wait to get started."
In total, Georgia will play in six tournaments that the team participated in last season.
The Bulldogs will open the season Aug. 30-Sept. 1 at the Visit Knoxville Collegiate in Knoxville, Tenn. before playing in the Second Swing Gopher Invitational Sept. 20-21 at the Windsong Farm Golf Club in Independence, Minn. The Bulldogs will finish the month at the Ben Hogan Collegiate, which takes place Sept. 28-29 in Fort Worth, Texas, at the Colonial Country Club.
The Bulldogs travel to Biloxi, Mississippi for the Fallen Oaks Collegiate Oct. 17-19 before wrapping up the fall with a trip to Maui, Hawaii, Oct. 26-28 for the Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational.
The Bulldogs will return to action in the spring at the Purdue Dominican Republic Classic at the La Cana Golf Club on Feb. 7-9, 2027. Georgia will then travel out west to Las Vegas for the Las Vegas Invitational on Feb. 28-March 2.
Georgia's first in-state event will take place at the Linger Longer Classic at the Great Waters at Reynolds Lake Oconee on March 20-22. The team shot 48-under-par, to finish first in 2026.
The final two tournaments of the regular season will also be local when the Bulldogs play at the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational in Augusta on April 3-4 and then at The Ford Collegiate, held at the Ford Golf and River Club on April 12-13.
The postseason will open with the SEC Championship at Sea Island Golf Club on Sea Island, April 21-25.
