Georgia Adds Eudald Gonzalez to 2026 Signing Class

ATHENS, Ga. --- The University of Georgia men's tennis team has added Eudald Gonzalez to the 2026 Signing Class, head coach Jamie Hunt announced. 
 
"Eudald is a huge addition to an already strong freshmen class for us," Hunt said. "He represents everything we look for in our student-athletes. He comes from a great family and is a high-character young man. He loves tennis and works hard. He will be a tremendous addition to our team and I can't wait to get him to Athens."
 
Gonzalez, of Barcelona, Spain is the current world No. 54 and has a UTR of 13.12 with a ATP Singles Ranking of 1,696.  He was a semifinalist at the 2025 ITF J300 Sanxenxo, Spain and runner-up at the ITF J200 Cairo.  He was the J200 Valencia Singles Champion and is a three-time ITF Doubles Champion. Gonzalez was also the European Doubles Champion in Italy in 2024, which he names as one of his career highlights so far along with advancing to the finals of the Spanish Championship in both 14-under and 16-under.  Additionally, he was the ITF J60 Netherlands and Spain Champion in 2024.  
 
"UGA is an incredible university where I'll be able to maximize my tennis skills and at the same time get a good degree," Gonzalez said. "There are very few universities like Georgia, especially since it comes recommended by my good friend Ignacio Buse. I am very excited to be part of the family."
