QUOTES:
Head Coach Jamie Hunt
On advancing. . .
"It's always good to get through the first round. You have a two week layoff from competing. I thought our preparation has been absolutely outstanding. We've worked really hard and done everything the right way. To get back out here, start competing again, and shake out the nerves and have to execute in certain situations. It could have been a little bit better, but they pushed us. You've got to give credit to Elon. They're a good team, and they won their conference. I think them testing us in certain moments is going to help us tomorrow. I'm proud of us getting through. There's things we're going to talk about cleaning up, that we need to do tomorrow, but I think today is going to benefit us heading into the second round."

Senior Derrick Chen
On today's match...
"Elon is a strong team, and we had to really be focused and play a good level. Me and Noah [Johnston] got off to a really good start in doubles, and kept the foot on the gas. Same in singles. Everyone came out strong. We got six first sets. Overall, it was a good day for the Dawgs."

On tomorrow's match against NC State...
"Just rest and recover. Obviously, another great team. We're just going to treat it like any other match. Go out there, play free, play with courage, and hope it swings our way."
