ATHENS, Ga. --- The No. 8 Georgia men's tennis team fell to No. 5 Mississippi State, 4-2, on Sunday afternoon at the Mississippi State Tennis Center.

FAST FACTS:

The Bulldogs won the doubles point with match wins on courts two and three. Will Jansen and Gabriele Vulpitta won 6-1 before Derrick Chen and Noah Johnston won in a tiebreak 7-6 (4).
Mississippi State won singles matches on courts two and five to go up 2-1.
Gabriele Vulpitta won his match on court six to even the score, 6-4, 6-1.

State added wins on courts one and four after forcing a third set on court four. Santiago Giamichelle went unfinished in the third set on court three.
