On the win and series sweep...
"Just really proud of the way that we put together at-bats. I thought Randi [Roelling] was really sharp in the circle and really excited the way Presley [Harrison] and Destin [Howard]came in and threw the ball. Defensively, we played clean. I thought we were really sharp all weekend on the defensive side of the ball, and we just won a lot of pitches. I thought today in the batter's box we laid off some of the pressure pitches that they were trying to make and got better pitches to hit. We didn't always get something to show for it, but at the end of the day, the process of winning pitches is going to help us be successful in this conference. I thought we did a good job of that all weekend. Excited for the sweep. Those are hard to come by in the SEC, and that means you have to do a lot of things right. We did that this weekend, and now we'll rest up and get ready for a really good Texas A&M trip and an Easter weekend."
Up Next:
No. 11 Georgia returns to action next Thursday, April 2 on the road at Texas A&M for the first game of the series. First pitch is set for 7:00 p.m. ET, and the game will be streamed live on the SEC Network+.
