Key Quote:
Head Coach Tony Baldwin
On the win..
"A good start to the weekend. I thought Randi got us off and running, really competed in the circle, and gave us a chance to get some things going. Then, proud of the way we strung together some at-bats and ultimately controlled the strike zone, applied pressure, got a few timely hits. I thought Presley [Harrison] came in and really threw the ball well, and we took care of the ball on defense and made a couple good plays. I thought the double play was a big one there in the fourth or fifth, and a good team win and a great start to the weekend. Now we'll get rested up and get ready to go back at them again tomorrow."

#56 Marisa Miller | Sr. | Catcher
On her performance…
"I just came into today just trying to stay calm, especially in the box. I feel like we came out good. Randi's [Roelling] pitching great. Then, once Tyler [Ellison] got on right in front of me, I was trying to move her over in my first at-bat. Just doing what I can for the team, and then it kind of worked out on both sides of the ball."
