Georgia to Take on South Carolina in Semifinals of SEC Equestrian Championship

AUBURN, Ala. - The Georgia equestrian team will kick off the 2026 SEC Championship against South Carolina on Friday at 11 a.m. ET at the Auburn University Equestrian Center in Auburn, Ala.
Georgia (7-4, 3-3 SEC) has earned the No. 3 seed, while South Carolina (10-4, 3-3 SEC) sits at No. 2 based on each team's conference win percentage during the regular season.
Friday's semifinal match up marks the third meeting between Georgia and South Carolina this season. The Bulldogs took the win against the Gamecocks 13-6 at home, before falling 16-3 when the two faced off in Blythewood, S.C. Georgia leads the overall series 44-19 against the Gamecocks.
Georgia concluded the regular season on February 28 at home against No. 1 Auburn, falling to the Tigers 11-9. South Carolina earned a home win against Delaware State, 17-3, to wrap up their regular season slate.

The winner of this round will face the winner of No. 1 seed Auburn vs. No. 4 seed Texas A&M in the championship round on Saturday, March 28 at 12 p.m. ET.
