On the atmosphere this weekend…
"I thought our event staff did an amazing job and just appreciate being here in front of our home crowd, them being a factor in the weekend. I thought they were awesome at all three games and fortunate to get good weather and bring people out. We appreciate their support, and we got three big home series left. We're going to need them the whole way."
On Randi Roelling's outing…
"She's a competitor. The analytics say that the third time through the lineup, the odds really shift, so we made a change there. She's such a competitor that she wanted the ball back. I thought her stuff was starting to go the wrong way when we took her out. When she came back in, it got better and was maybe throwing her best there at the end. She's just a competitor and always gives us a chance when she's out there."
On their offense today…
"I thought we executed our at-bats really well. We lost some poise there at the end, but a lot of that is a tribute to [Alyssa] Faircloth and how good she is. The change-up is really deceptive. We're not a bad change-up hitting team, but she made us look like we were not as good as we can be. I'll give more of the credit to her, and we'll be back to work this weekend."
