TULSA, Okla. – The sixth-ranked Georgia gymnastics team posted a 197.450 at the 2026 SEC Gymnastics Championships on Saturday at BOK Center.
 
Georgia finished at the top of the first session of the championship and finished fifth overall.
 
FAST FACTS
  • Georgia's 197.450 is the best team score by the Bulldogs at an SEC Championships since 2004 (198.175), putting itself into a position for its best overall finish since 2019 (fourth place).
  • Georgia's 197.450 is the highest first session score ever at the SEC Championships. The SEC moved to a two-session format in 2013.
  • The GymDogs' 49.375 on both bars and beam were the highest team event scores of the first session, while their 49.425 on floor and 49.275 on vault each finished second in the session.
  • Individually, freshman Autumn Reingold (9.925 on bars), freshman Kelise Woolford (9.950 on beam), and sophomore Nyla Aquino (9.925 on floor) finished as event leaders in the first session.
  • After a bye in the first rotation, Georgia concluded the second rotation with a 49.375 on bars, led by a 9.925 from Reingold in the anchor spot and a 9.900 by Woolford. Junior Ady Wahl tied her season best on the event with a 9.875.
  • The GymDogs matched their 49.375 in the third rotation on beam. Woolford finished her day with a second big score of 9.950 to pace the Georgia beam lineup. Freshman CaMarah Williams added a 9.900 with 9.850s from sophomore Harley Tomlin and senior Ja' Free Scott.
  •  Aquino scored a 9.925 with 9.900's from Tomlin and C. Williams on floor en route to a 49.425 in the fourth rotation.
  • Georgia closed out the afternoon session on vault, tallying a 49.275 on the event. Scott led off the rotation with a team-best 9.900, tying her career high.

UP NEXT
Georgia will await its seeding and placement in the 2026 NCAA Gymnastics Championship. Four regionals consisting of nine teams will be conducted at predetermined campus sites. The first round will consist of two teams, second round will consist of eight teams, and the regional final will consist of four teams. The predetermined sites for the 2026 championship are Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Corvallis, Oregon, Lexington, Kentucky, and Tempe, Arizona. The top two teams each regional will receive an automatic berth to the national championships in Fort Worth, Texas.
