ATHENS, Ga. – The No. 20/15 Georgia Bulldogs (4-1) fell to Belmont (3-2) on the last day of the Red and Black Showcase on Sunday afternoon at the Jack Turner Stadium, 2-1.

- Belmont started with a two-run home run in the first inning to take an early lead – the only hit allowed in the game by the Georgia pitching staff.
- Emily Digby flashed an RBI-double in the bottom of the second inning to cut in the Belmont lead.
- Randi Roelling made her second start of the season going 4.0 innings and allowing just one hit. Freshman Presley Harrison closed out the final three innings for the Dawgs with four strikeouts and no hits in her third appearance on the mound this season.
- Georgia still leads the all-time series against Belmont, 4-1.
