ATHENS, Ga. — Georgia basketball players Brandon Klatsky, David Ugonna Ike and Andrew Osasuyi visited with the media on Monday to discuss the Bulldogs' pre-season practices to date and their upcoming preseason game against Charlotte.
Klatsky is a 6-4, fifth-year graduate student from Colts Neck, N.J., who received his bachelor's degree in Finance in May and is on track to earn a master's in Business Analytics next spring. He has played in 16 games over the past three seasons, including scoring five points and collecting two steals in just 68 seconds of action in last season's opener against Bellarmine.
Ike is a 7-0 freshman from Owerri, Nigeria, prepped at the NBA Academy Africa. In January, he averaged a double-double of 24.3 points and 12.3 rebounds for NBAAA en route to a 3-0 performance at the Advance Global Cup in Malaga, Spain, a tournament featuring 10 teams from five continents and eight countries.
Osasuyi is a 6-10 sophomore from Magenta, Italy, who played at St. Bonaventure last season. He led the Bonnies in field goal percentage at .651 and also recorded 55 blocked shots, which ranked fifth nationally among all Division I freshman. Osasuyi helped lead Italy to a Gold Medal at the 2025 FIBA U20 EuroBasket Tournament.
The Bulldogs will host the 49ers at Stegeman on Friday (Oct. 16) at 7:00 p.m. in the second of three preseason outings. Georgia defeated Georgia State, 94-61, last Wednesday and also will travel to Clemson on Friday, Oct. 23. Tickets for Friday's game are $5 and available via georgiadogs.com here.
