COLUMBIA, S.C. — The University of Georgia Lady Bulldog basketball team fell to the No. 3-ranked South Carolina Gamecocks, 65-43, Sunday afternoon at Colonial Life Arena.

» The Lady Bulldog defense held South Carolina to its second lowest scoring effort of the season.
» Georgia jumped out to an early 7-3 lead, but South Carolina finished the first quarter on a 13-0 run to lead 16-7 at the end of one. The Lady Bulldogs committed nine turnovers in the first 10 minutes of the game.
» Georgia could not recover from the point and trailed the rest of the way in the loss.
» The Gamecocks held Georgia to a season-low 27 percent from the floor.
» Junior Rylie Theuerkauf led the Bulldogs with 16 points in the loss.
» Freshman Zhen Craft recored 11 points and eight rebounds in her first-career start.
» Trinity Turner recorded a career-high 10 rebounds in the contest.
