Bulldogs in the NFL: Week Four
September 30, 2025 | Football
ATHENS, Ga. – Week four of NFL action is complete, and several former Bulldogs had exceptional performances for their respective teams.
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens filled in seamlessly for former All-Pro wide receiver Ceedee Lamb on Sunday night as he hauled in eight of his 11 targets for 134 yards and two touchdowns. His 134 yards are his highest yardage output since a 2023 matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals. His two touchdowns also marked just the second time in his career that he has had two scores in one game. With his performance, Pickens now ranks 10th in the NFL in receiving yards (300) and third in the league in receiving touchdowns (4).
Meanwhile, James Cook continues to find the end zone as he scored his fifth rushing touchdown of the season and secured a new Buffalo Bills franchise record for consecutive games with a rushing score (8). He finished the day with 22 carries for 117 yards and a touchdown, and added three catches for 18 yards in the win. Cook has come out of the gates hot in the first four weeks of the season as he ranks amongst the top five in three different offensive categories. Currently, Cook ranks second in the NFL in rushing yards (401), first in rushing touchdowns (5), and fifth in yards from scrimmage (490).
