2026 Gymnastics Schedule Announced

ATHENS, Ga. -- University of Georgia gymnastics co-head coaches Cécile Canqueteau-Landi and Ryan Roberts have announced the GymDogs' slate of meets for the upcoming 2026 season.

With numerous new faces on the roster and a strong set of opponents, the GymDogs are preparing for a successful 2026 campaign.

The first event of the year will be the annual GymDog Debut, held in Stegeman Coliseum at 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 13.

The 12-meet regular-season schedule features one quad meet at home, two quad meets on the road and all eight conference foes. 12 opponents appeared in NCAA Regional Finals and five advanced to nationals during the 2025 season.

The GymDogs open the 2026 season on the road in Columbus, Ohio at Ohio State. Georgia will also travel to single-team matchups at Oklahoma (Jan. 23), Arkansas (Feb. 6), Kentucky (Feb. 27) and Alabama (March 13). The GymDogs will then compete in a pair of multi-competitor faceoffs at the Metroplex Challenge in Fort Worth, Texas against Air Force, California and Stanford (Feb. 14) and Elevate the Stage in Huntsville, Ala. against Auburn, Clemson and Pitt (March 8).

The conference and home opener will take place on Friday, January 16 against LSU in Stegeman Coliseum. Georgia's remaining home competitions include a quad meet against Temple, Fisk and Central Michigan (Jan. 30) followed by a trio of SEC meets against Auburn (Feb. 1), Florida (Feb. 20) and Missouri (March 6).

The SEC Championship will be held March 21. Location is to be announced.

The GymDogs will then learn their placement for the NCAA Regional, if qualified, with host sites in Baton Rouge, La., Corvallis, Ore., Lexington, Ky. and Tempe, Ariz.

The NCAA National Championship will be held April 16 and 18 at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
