Dilek Advances in ITA All-American Championships

Cary, N.C. — Deniz Dilek defeated Arkansas's Katarina Pavlechova in straight sets 6-3, 7-6(4) to continue to day two of the singles pre-qualifiers.

Tournament Information:

The All-American Championships also serve as a qualifying event for the NCAA Doubles and Singles Championships.
Ten singles players (eight main draw quarterfinalists and two consolation finalists) and four doubles teams will earn spots through this tournament.
Pre-qualifying action will finish up Sept. 21 followed by qualifying from Sept. 22-23 and lastly, the main draw will run from Sept. 24-28.
