LUBBOCK, Texas — Chantal El Chaib continued competition at the NCAA Lubbock Regional on Monday, finishing the day tied for 47th after 36 holes of play.

·       El Chaib carded an 83 in the regional's second round to move into a tie for 47th place with 18 holes to go.
·       After posting a 44 across the first nine holes of action on Monday, the graduate student shot a 39 on the back nine, highlighted by a birdie on hole 18. She shot par or better on each of the final three holes to close out the day.
·       After two rounds, El Chaib is 13-over par with rounds of 74 and 83 to her name. Her 2-over par performance on Sunday was tied for 10th in the field.
