Georgia Upsets Auburn in NCEA Championship Quarterfinals, 13-4

The seventh-seeded University of Georgia equestrian team upset the No. 2-seeded Auburn Tigers in the NCEA National Championship quarterfinal at the World Equestrian Center on Thursday afternoon.

Georgia will face No. 6-seeded Texas A&M after their narrow 10(1568.75) - 10(1537.67) victory against Oklahoma State University this evening.
This will be the fourth meeting between the Bulldogs and the Aggies this season. Georgia upset the Aggies with a tiebreaker win, 9-9 (1676.25-1659.75), at home in the first match up, while they fell 12-4 in the second meeting in College Station, Texas. The Bulldogs recently competed against the Aggies in the SEC Championship semifinal round and fell by a slim 10-9 result. Georgia boasts a 24-16 all-time record against the Aggies.
Georgia is set to take the stage at 9:00 a.m. ET, Friday morning, at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida to compete for a spot in the NCEA National Championship.
