Pro Dogs Update: Edwards Back In All-Star Game On Feb. 16

Bulldogs continue solid campaigns in pro ranks
ATHENS, Ga, --- Bulldogs who have ascended to the professional ranks continue to provide for their respective teams in the NBA and overseas.
Anthony Edwards was selected for the 2025 Western Conference All-Star team for the third time in five seasons. Edwards is having his best statistical season, averaging a career-high 26.5 points per game largely due to an uptick in his three-point percentage (42.1 percent), up 6.4 percent from last season. Edwards leads the 27-23 Minnesota Timberwolves in points, field goals, assists and plus/minus per game.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has been productive for the Orlando Magic which struggled in January, losing 11 out of 15 games and falling out of first in the Eastern Conference Southeast Division. KCP is averaging 9.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists and a team-leading 1.5 steals per game.
Nicolas Claxton played very well in January, averaging 10.2 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.3 blocks per game despite the Brooklyn Nets losing 13 of 15 games.
Internationally, 14 Bulldogs are well into their seasons.
Jailyn Ingram, a Madison, Ga., native, is averaging 12.6 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.8 assists through 24 games for the Tachikawa Dice in the Japanese B3 league. The small forward ranks second on the 15-17 Dice in points and third in rebounds.
Yante Maten is putting up strong numbers for the San-En NeoPhoenix in Japan's B1 league, just three hours from Ingram. Maten leads the NeoPhoenix and ranks fourth in the league in blocks, while also ranking second on the team in points and first in rebounds. He is averaging 15.0 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game, helping San-En to a league-best 30-4 record.
Aaron Cook is averaging 11.5 points, 4.8 assists, 1.9 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game for ZZ Leiden in the Netherlands. The team holds a 10-10 record and sits 11th in the BNXT League standings.
Tyree Crump started the 2024-2025 season by averaging 13.3 points, 1.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.3 steals per game in the Arab Club Championship. He then moved to the Matero Magic in Zambia's D1 league, then to the Mighty Barrolle of Liberia's D1 league and finally the Al Shurtah Police in the Iraqui Superleague, where he collected 6.9 points, 2.6 assists and 2.1 boards through eight games.
Through 26 games with the RussianPari Nizhny Novgorod, 6-foot-8 power forward Nemanja "Semi" Djurisic is averaging 10.9 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.0 assists through 26 games. Djurisic has led Nizhny Novgorod to a 13-16 record in the VTB United League.
Mike Edwards is off to a solid start for KK Pelister Sport Bitola, which competes in North Macedonia's PRVA League and the ABA's League 2. Playing in his seventh country (North Macedonia, Russia, United States, Azerbaijan, Canada, Kosovo, and Russia), Edwards is averaging 14.7 points and 6.0 rebounds in ABA action while recording 9.1 points and 5.6 rebounds in PRVA play.
J.J. Frazier has been playing extremely well in Turkey for Bordo Sportive Balikesir, scoring a team-leading 21.2 points, 7.2 assists, 5.4 rebounds and 2.1 steals through 21 games.
Center Rayshaun Hammonds leads his Suwon KT Sonicboom squad in scoring and rebounding with 18.2 points and 9.8 rebounds per game through five East Asia Super League contests. In 33 games in the South Korea KBL, Hammonds is averaging 17.7 points, 9.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists.
Jordan Harris has played in 19 games this season for SSD Real Sebastiani Rieti in Italy's Serie A and A2, averaging 8.1 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game in Seria A, while posting 12.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists in Seria A2.
Derek Ogbeide has adjusted well after making the move from Slovenia to Israel in November, now playing for Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem. In seven domestic contests, Ogbeide is averaging 7.6 points and 3.6 rebounds. The club also is competing in Eurocup play, where Ogbiede has contributed 5.5 points and 4.9 boards in 11 outings.
Veteran Gerald Robinson is playing in his tenth country for the Rivierabanca Basket Rimini of Italy's Serie A2. The 13-year veteran is averaging 12.1 points, 4.3 assists and 2.9 rebounds for the franchise, which holds second place in the Serie A2 standings with an 18-7 record.
After beginning the season in Turkey, Noah Thomasson transitioned to KK Mornar in Montenegro, averaging 10.1 points, 1.6 boards and 3.2 assists through 13 games.
Trey Thompkins has returned to Spain for the 2024-25 campaign, playing with Leyma Basquet Coruna. Through 17 contests, he is averaging 11.1 points and 3.6 rebounds.
Veteran Terrance Woodbury continues to put up big numbers in Japan, where his 18.1 points per game leads the Shinshu Brave Warriors Nagano. Woodbury has also been efficient on the glass, averaging 6.4 rebounds per appearance.
