No. 3 Georgia Drops to No. 5 SMU

DALLAS, Texas – The third-ranked University of Georgia equestrian team fell to the fifth-ranked SMU, 10-9, on Saturday afternoon at the Dallas Equestrian Center in Dallas, Texas.

- The Bulldogs outscored the Ponies in Fences, 3-2, Tessa Brown scored an 83, Jordan Toering rode to an 89 and Catalina Peralta received an 88.
- SMU took the lead with four points in Horsemanship and a tie, SMU led 6-3 at halftime.
- Georgia responded with a 4-1 run in Flat to boost Georgia ahead
- The Ponies followed with a 3-2 performance in Reining, ultimately taking the victory on the day.
