KEY QUOTES
Georgia Co-Head Coach, Cécile Canqueteau-Landi
On tonight's meet. . .
"It was a good night but a stressful night that was really close. I love those meets. They're not easy for everybody, but it was fun. It made it good for the crowd. The girls responded really well to a few things here and there. I'm really pleased with tonight. We got another 197.000, so that's always good to get."
On the team's energy…
"That's the main thing we focus on. We can only control ourselves, so we want to keep that energy up regardless of what happens and not focus too much on the scores. I don't know if the girls knew, but as coaches, we knew where we were. I hope they didn't watch too much and just tried to perform the best they could. We just told them, 'Enjoy every competition, every opportunity you have to be on the floor, just do it and have fun.'"
Anya Turner, So.
On the culture of the 2025 GymDogs. . .
"The culture is really good. We lift each other up all the time. If we see someone struggling, we're able to work on that really quickly. The coaching staff's really great and encouraging. Everyone feels a lot of encouragement and is motivated by the coaches and the team as a whole."
