
Butler, Rush Pick Up Wins To Open Razorback Invitational

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. --- Aaliyah Butler shot to No. 2 in the NCAA this season in the 200-meter dash while Ella Rush moved to No. 9 in program history in the pentathlon to highlight Georgia's opening day at the Razorback Invitational on Friday.

Georgia will compete in the second and final day of the Razorback Invitational on Saturday. Action will begin on the track at 11:35 a.m. ET with the women's 60m qualifying round featuring Sanaa and Sole Frederick. The final three events of the heptathlon will commence with the 60m hurdles at noon, while a quartet of Bulldogs will compete in the women's triple jump starting at 3 p.m.

- Butler logged a 22.83 in the 200m to earn her third victory in as many different events this season (400m, 4x400-meter relay – Ted Nelson Invitational). The junior finished just 0.03 seconds behind her personal best as she made her season debut in the event. The time ranks second on the NCAA's 2025 indoor performance list.
- Rush used a win in the long jump (6.24 meters/20 feet, 5.75 inches) to propel herself to victory in the pentathlon, tallying a personal-best 4,217 pts. to climb to No. 9 in program history in the event. Rush recorded an indoor personal best in the 60-meter hurdles followed by lifetime PRs in the long jump and 800m to seal the victory, finishing in the top three in four of the pentathlon's five individual events.
- Elena Kulichenko finished second in the high jump, recording a season-best mark of 1.91m/6-3.25. She sailed over the bar on her second attempt and was one of just two jumpers to clear the 1.91m mark at the meet. Fellow jumper Alon Rogow shattered his lifetime personal best in the pole vault, posting a 5.30m/17-4.50 clearance to finish fifth. With the mark, he became the No. 6 performer in program history indoors.
- Stephanie Ratcliffe opened her 2025 season with a fourth-place effort in the weight throw, sending her second attempt 20.47m/67-2. She moved to No. 5 on Georgia's all-time top-10 list in her first indoor meet representing the Bulldogs.
- Micah Larry recorded the best indoor long jump mark of his collegiate career, leaping 7.67m/25-2 to secure third place in Fayetteville. The sophomore matched classmate Zavien Wolfe's No. 9 mark in program history with the effort.
