Georgia, Ole Miss WBB Game Time Shifted on Jan. 1

December 26, 2025 | Women's Basketball

ATHENS, Ga. — Georgia's women's basketball game at Ole Miss on Thursday, Jan. 1 has been moved up to 3 p.m. ET/2 p.m. CT due to the two schools facing off in the Allstate Sugar Bowl later that evening.

The women's basketball contest was originally slated to tip off at 7:30 p.m. ET, just before the Sugar Bowl. To accommodate fans of both programs, the two universities mutually agreed to move the game time.

The Jan. 1 meeting on the hardwood serves as the Southeastern Conference opener for both teams. It will take place inside The Sandy and John Black Pavilion at Ole Miss and will air as originally scheduled on SEC Network + and the Georgia Bulldog Radio Network.

Georgia is currently 13-0 and off to its best start in 16 seasons. Ole Miss is 12-2 and ranked No. 15 nationally. The Lady Bulldogs own a 38-17 lead in the all time series against the Rebels, including a 12-10 advantage in Oxford.
