Georgia Moves to 8-0 with 68-62 Win Against Previous Unbeaten Kansas

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Led by 23 points from sophomore guard Dani Carnegie – her third-straight game with 20 or more this season – the University of Georgia Lady Bulldog basketball team defeated Kansas, 68-62, Friday evening in the first game of the Fort Myers Tip-Off.

After falling behind 16-7 at the end of the first quarter, Georgia outscored Kansas 25-13 in the second period to take a lead at the half. The Lady Bulldogs have outscored their last three opponents by a 63-21 margin in the second quarter.
