Hardin and Staude Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

ATHENS, Ga. – Senior defender Cate Hardin and junior midfielder Kiera Staude were named to the 2025 Women's Soccer Academic All-District Team, as announced Tuesday afternoon by College Sports Communicators.
For both Hardin and Staude, it is their second career Academic All-District honor (Hardin, 2023; Staude, 2024). The Bulldog program has now earned 27 AAD honors in its history.
Hardin, a Marietta native, holds a 3.64 GPA while majoring in Sport Management. This season, she was named to the Second Team All-SEC, while scoring one goal and assisting on a team-high four. The team co-captain scored the winning goal at Texas A&M and assisted on Ava Stack's winner against Kentucky. For both performances, she was named to the TopDrawerSoccer National Team of the Week. For the season, she ranked third in minutes, including nine efforts of 90+ minutes. She ended her career as the team leader in career appearances (81), starts (70), assists (8), and minutes (5,864).
Hardin has been named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll in all three seasons and has served as a S.A.A.C. team representative for three years. She was also named to this season's SEC Community Service Team for her volunteer efforts with Feed My Starving Children, Extra Special People, and Athens United Soccer Club.
Staude, an Atlanta native, holds a 3.92 GPA while majoring in Accounting. This season, she was named to the Second Team All-SEC and SEC All-Tournament Team. She ranked second on the team in goals with a career-high six, while also assisting on two others. She led all field players in minutes and notched her first career hat trick against North Florida on Aug. 28, earning TopDrawerSoccer National Team of the Week Honorable Mention honors. She currently ranks second on the team in career appearances, starts, points, goals, and minutes.
Staude has been named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll in both seasons and has earned numerous UGA Presidential Scholars honors for a 4.0 GPA semester. This fall, she was inducted into the Georgia Way L.E.A.D. Leadership Academy.
Hardin and Staude were selected by the CSC Academic All-America selection committee for inclusion on the 2025 Academic All-America ballot. The Academic All-America Team will be named on Wednesday, Dec. 17 at noon EST. Georgia has placed seven student-athletes on the All-America Team in its program history.
