On the game plan…
"First of all, we played a very well organized and rested Ohio State team. I thought they just did a good job. I felt like we produced enough. We pressed numbers forward. We went a little bit more direct. We had one on the doorstep, had the goalkeeper cut off on one. We had a couple corners that I thought we were pretty close one, had a header that went over. I thought we produced enough in the game. Just a good team. Well played, just a little unlucky today."
On the seniors and what their legacy left...
"Laila (Booker) came in, this was her only post season. This was the only experience she had in the post season her entire career. She gave us such a lift and played through some injuries all season. That willingness and excitement, give it her all. She is amazing. Maddie Baker, she transferred in from Vanderbilt, spent two seasons with us. Really helped to elevate and change the way we do things. She played with a lot of heart, went on a lot of runs. Then you got to go to Cate (Hardin) and Millie (Filson), I say them together because they are attached at the hip. Two of the recruits that stayed once we got here and they have helped grow this program tremendously. Before they got here, we had not been to the NCAAs in a really long time. Now we have been four years in a row. Now we have hosted four seasons in a row. We have advanced in every single tournament. We have made so many first and so many new standards. They are at the heart of it. They learned from the ones before, and they have left a legacy that we will follow."

On her message to the younger players…
"Just to keep the program at a high standard and keep leading girls coming into the program, old or new. Just keep this program at the top."
