KEY QUOTES
Head Coach Tom Black
On senior night and what they mean to the team…Â
"They're really good players and they're even better people. Este (Haugen) has been here all four years, Adri (Rhoda) in her first year, such a huge impact by both of them. Este has fought so hard to get to the point of being a starter. Adri had so much success at her last school and came here and switched positions right away. They've both just had such a huge impact, and I love them to death."Â
Â
On tonight being the last home game…
"It's huge to get the win, we wanted to close on a good note and our fans have been amazing all year. We're really grateful for Dawg Nation."
Â
#13 Bianna Muoneke | Outside Hitter | Junior.
On how important it was to win the last match at Stegeman . . .
"So huge. Between our seniors and how we love Stegeman, how we love the community, being able to come and represent Georgia is always the best feeling. Being at home, there is nothing like it. Coming out here, we knew we needed to win, not just for our record, but also for the people and Georgia."Â
Â
#3 MK Patten | Middle Blocker/Opposite | SophomoreÂ
On what was said after the second set…Â
"Yeah, we came in the huddle and we were like 'Okay, what are we doing here? Are we just going to let them walk all over us, or are we going to set up and look around?' And great atmosphere tonight, great fans, and we knew that we just really had to step up and we did good."
