Bulldogs Beat Tigers in Home Finale, 3-1

ATHENS, Ga. – The University of Georgia volleyball team defeated the LSU Tigers in four sets on Wednesday evening at Stegeman Coliseum (25-21, 21-25, 25-20, 28-26). Seniors Estelle Haugen and Adriana Rhoda were honored before the home finale.

Georgia improves to 16-8 on the season and 8-6 in SEC play.

Fast Facts

Junior Bianna Muoneke (19 kills) and sophomore MK Patten (14) led the Georgia attack on Wednesday. Muoneke hit .277 in the match while Patten hit .345.
The Georgia block was in full force as the Bulldogs put up 14 as a team. Redshirt-sophomore Tori Harper led all blockers with eight, followed closely by seven from Patten. Redshirt-junior Kendal Kemp added six of her own.
Three double-doubles were reached by the Bulldogs on Wednesday: redshirt-sophomore Makena Lim (14 digs, 11 assists), junior setter Kaiya Tyson (17 assists, 12 digs), and freshman setter Chloe Elarton (22 assists, 11 digs).

"They're really good players and they're even better people. Este (Haugen) has been here all four years, Adri (Rhoda) in her first year, such a huge impact by both of them. Este has fought so hard to get to the point of being a starter. Adri had so much success at her last school and came here and switched positions right away. They've both just had such a huge impact, and I love them to death."
